Is Something Fishy Going Down in Columbus?

Earlier today there were reports on all of the major .com's that Ohio State had suspended 2 players for the BCS title game. The 2 players were both corners, one starting and one a solid backup and were said to have violated team rules. Now the team is saying that (gasp!) the starter has NOT been suspended and only the backup was. Now, we don't know what happened but we do know that either all of .com's as well as the Columbus Dispatch were dead wrong or Ohio State is not as saintly as Big 10 Commissioner Jim Delany would have you think. This would certainly not be the first time a school has chosen to suspend the backup and let the stud continue playing (FSU comes to mind during the Peter Warrick fiasco) but if this is in fact as shady as it looks, all of the Ohio State fans need to shut up with the bashing of the "corrupt" SEC. Now, this could all be a case of horrible journalism but something seems a little fishy to me.
